Balmain Fall/Winter 2015
Balmain presented as usual a very powerful collection. Balmain is one of my favourite brands as far as I can remember but I must admit this season's collection is not my favourite. Nonetheless Balmain remains Balmain. The colours are a combination of camouflage, animal print and black. Most looks excited out of leather and metals. The clothes are very sexy without showing too much.

Natalie Portman for Dior
Natalie Portman must be one of the most elegant women in the world and that makes her the perfect face for Dior. With already some campaigns for the brand under her belt, she now gets to promote Dior's newest perfume "Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet".
I can't wait to try this scent on because of several reasons. Firstly I'm a huge fan of the Miss Dior perfumes. The bottles are always super cute and the scent is so sweet. It really draws me in.
Secondly the promo pictures from Natalie Portman look amazing. After seeing them you just want to live the same Parisian lifestyle.
This brings me to reason number 3; I absolutely adore Natalie Portman. She is just so amazingly talented. I first got hooked on her when she played in the Star Wars movies. BTW: Yes, Stars Wars is one of my guilty pleasures. She's super dedicated to her job as well. You see this in movies such as V for Vendetta or Black Swan. In the first she shaves her head bald and in the latter she had to learn the same routines as a real ballerina.
So anyway check out the pictures from this campaign and let me know what you think.

Instalab
It's been a while since my last Instalab. If you want to keep up to date with my daily please follow my account!
A lovely pumpkin lasagna homemade by a friend.
Sometimes I crave fastfood so badly and McDonalds is the best.
Two models during the fashion show from Bobo Tremelo at Versuz. Read my report from that night here.
Celebrating a friend's birthday at Versuz with some Bacardi Razz. You can image I didn't feel completely fresh to go to work the next day.
My parents went on holiday to Tuscany last year. This year I get to go along. According to my mother there's plenty of opportunity to shop there so I'm really excited. If you got some tips, please let me know!
I've been working out more lately. I already did Infraligne, which are muscle exercices in warm cabins. Now I started with Bootcamp and running.
My outfit to attend the fashion show from Goldies Herentals. Please check the report from that night here.
Last Friday night I caugt up with a friend I hadn't seen for years, isn't that great? We had dinner at Etna, which is an Italian restaurant in Tongeren. All there pastas and pizzas are homemade. I ordered a vegetarian pizza and it was one of the best I had in my entire life!
Saturday day night I went to one of the best parties of the year. The event is called Reverze and it's one of the biggest indoor hardstyle festivals. The theme was "Guerdians of time". I really had a blast.

Milan Fashion Week day 6
Yesterday was unfortunately the last day from Milan Fashion week and I reviewed two shows. The first one is from Dsquared². The setting from this show was insane. The decor was some kind of hospital wing from a madhouse. Some models were playing a role as patient, guard,... The clothes were amazing as well, in the usual Dquared² style; lots of metallics, leather and sexy combinations.
The last show I watched was Giorgio Armani. The runway was very modern with a huge green door. The color green kept on appearing during the show in different shades. The looks started off as quite classic office looks but gradually evolved to powerful looks with some fur. The final pieces were very glamorous and red carpet proof.

Milan Fashion Week day 4 + 5
Roberto Cavalli probably had my favourite catwalk from the week. The center of his set was a ring of fire — live flames lit in a circle — that ignited at the start of the show and remained burning for its duration. The models walked around this circle with matching outfits. But let's focus on the most important thing: the clothes. Most pieces came in black and grey shades, adding extra mysterie and that's what the Cavalli woman is all about.
The Pucci woman is known for her sexiness with lots of embellishments and head designer Peter Dundas always knows to bring a new spin on this theme. I would describe this collection as savage chic with lots of tribal elements in natural tones.
Pompeii and its faded murals and frescos served as inspiration for the decor and outfits from Roccobarocco. The show started off with some tight black and white combinations with stripes or checkered patterns. After those first 15 or so looks, the atmosphere changed and a firework of amazing colors were shown; pink, blue, gold and black. I absolutely adored the dresses with ancient symbols on them.

Goldie's "The Borrel" Fashion show
While I can only follow the fashions shows from Milan online, I attended a real fashion show last Thursday. One of my favourite stores Goldie presented their spring collection during "The Borrel". This is a seasonal event they organise in their store in Herentals to show the newest collection. Goldie sells some of my favourite brands such as Atos Lombardini, Elisabetta Franchi, Josh V, Patrizia Pepe, Pinko, Twinset and Ted Baker. I totally fell in love with this white and pastel pink dress from Pinko. Among one of the models was Zoë Van Gastel, a Belgian tv personality. Thanks to all the models who took the time to pose in front of my camera and thanks to Goldie for the lovely drinks and bites. Here are some of my favourite looks, the last picture is the outfit I wore to the event; a Pinko dress.

Milan Fashion Week day 3
After having been dazzled by Blugirl's show yesterday, I couldn't wait to see big sister Blumarine. The wait was worth it. Blumarine's collection for next winter took my breath away. I loved almost every piece. The collection is chic and exuberant. Lots of expensive fabrics, rich colors, golden completions. Very surprisingly were the Chinese touches some looks had. I tried to select some of my favourite looks, which was a very hard job to do.
Who didn't know Versace yet might be surprised by the following words: Donatella Versace presented a calm and normal collection. What I mean by that? Well let's be honest, usually the house doesn't know how to pick colors so they use almost every bright color known to mankind and secondly the clothes sometimes give you a "trashy" feeling. But this season the collection is quite wearable for a night out and Donatella managed to stick to 3 à 4 colors for the whole collection.
The Versace fans don't have to worry tough: there are still dresses with high splits and deep cleavages, the fabrics are very sexy,.. Overall I'm a fan of this collection.
The second show I watched on the 3th day of Milan fashion week was the Emporio Armani show. The show was not surprising but remained loyal to the usual style of the brand. Lots of black/white/grey combo's and very tight designs. Emporio Armani focus on the working woman was once again very noticeable. If you're a hardworking, chic and elegant woman, you'll find what you need at Emporia Armani.
The Etro show started off very mysterious with the logo of the brand becoming smaller and less brighter every second. The clothes were less surprising; lots of bold prints and aztec influences. Nonetheless nobody can deny that the master is in the detail which is definitely true for Etro. The color shades were red, burgundy, brown and dark blue.
