Golden Globes 2014

Last night the Golden globes took place. Leonardo Dicaprio and Cate Blanchett were among the winners for their acting prestations. But let's concentrate on the most important part of a gala evening: the gowns. Here are my favourites! Which dress is your favourite?

Adèle Exarchopoulos in a Miu Miu gown. Classy yet sexy.

Amber Heard in an Atelier Versace gown combined with Jimmy Choo heels. The dress is awesome but I would have added more exciting shoes.

Amy Adams in a Valentino coutoure gown which is very pretty but if I were nominated for an award I would go for a gown which would match the special occasion.

Ariel Winter in a Mikael D gown with Jimmy Choo accessories. I love the burgundy dress, I can't get enough of this color.

Cate Blanchett in Armani Privé Couture with Chopard jewelry. This actress is always so graceful. 

Giuliana Rancic in a Lorena Sarbu dress. I'm a sucker for big gowns so I really like this one. 

Julianna Margulies wore a dress by Andrew Gn, it's simple but sufficient for the Golden Globes.

Lupita Nyong’o wore a Ralph Lauren spring/summer 2014 gown with Fred Leighton jewellery. This is one of my favourite looks of the evening. The combination of the  dress, cape and the colour make it perfect.

Camila Alves wore a Dolce & Gabbana black sequin gown, add Matthew McConaughey as armcandy. Me jealous? No why would I?

Michelle Dockery wore a gown from the Oscar de la Renta spring/summer 2014 collection and accessorised with Bulgari jewellery. I really like that the hem of this dress is a bit of the ground, because sometimes a long gown can hide some amazing shoes. Unfortunately the actress forget to put on some mindblowing shoes.

Olivia Wilde dressed her baby bump in a Gucci Première sequin gown and carried a clutch by Emm Kuo. Emerald green is one of the it colours of this season and gives her outfit an immediate uplift!

Sandra Bullock chose a gown from Prabal Gurung’s pre-autumn/winter 2014 collection and accessorised with Jimmy Choo heels. Raf Simons is the master in pastel color blocking but the design team from prabal Gurung shows with this dress that they are the number one student. 

Sofia Vergara wore a Zac Posen gown with a necklace by Lorraine Schwartz. This look proves that a statement necklace can uplift a whole oufit.

Taylor Swift wore a gown from the Carolina Herrera pre-autumn/winter 2014 collection. The past year Taylor Swift evolved in a real trendsetter at gala events.
