EVENT: #indenimwetrust

I finally found to time to prepare my posts about Amsterdam and although I was only there for about 24h hours, I had to most fabulous time. My first experience in Amsterdam was the #indenimwetrust party by the Sting. Kevin, a blogger friend of mine, had a cooperation with the Sting and was invited to the party and I was so excited when he asked me as his plus one.

The party took place in the Westergasfabriek. I can best describe it as a cultural park with nice restaurants and bars. First the bloggers had a drink with free cocktails and bites. It was so great to see many familiar faces again.

Afterwards we went to the party together and danced the night away on the electronic beats of Fedde le Grand and others. I want to thank Kevin for inviting me and the Sting for their hospitality.

NL: Ik heb eindelijk wat tijd gevonden om mijn posts over Amsterdam voor te bereiden en ik had er een korte maar geweldige tijd. Mijn eerste ervaring in Amsterdam was de #indenimwetrust party georganiseerd door The Sting. Kevin, een blogger vriend van mij, had een samenwerking met the Sting en was uitgenodigd voor dit feestje en hij vroeg mij mee als plus one.

Het feest vond plaats in de Westergasfabriek. Ik kan het best beschrijven als een cultureel park met leuke restaurantjes en bars. Eerst was er een blogger borrel met gratis cocktails en hapjes. Het was echt super om alle bekende gezichten nog eens te zien.

Daarna gingen we samen naar de party en danste tot de vroege uurtjes op de elektronische beats van onder andere Fedde le Grande. Ik wil graag Kevin bedanken om me uit te nodigen en The Sting voor hun gastvrijheid.

TRAVEL: Preparing for Amsterdam

I wasn't really planning on still going on a citytrip this year but this weekend I will in Amsterdam for about 24h. The occasion: my best male blogger friend Kevin has a cooperation with The Sting and is invited to their #In Denim We Trust party. Guess which lucky lady gets to be his plus one on Friday evening? Yes, indeed that would be me.

NL: Ik was niet echt van plan om dit jaar nog op citytrip te gaan maar dit weekend zal ik toch 24h doorbrengen in Amsterdam. De gelegenheid: mijn beste mannelijke blogger vriend Kevin heeft samengewerkt met The Sting en werd uitgenodigd voor hun #In Denim We Trust feestje. En raadt eens welke geluksvogel mee mag gaan als "plus one" op vrijdagavond? Ja, inderdaad dat ben ik.

The line-up sounds great; Dr. Lektroluv and a surprise act and almost all my favorite bloggers from the Netherlands will be there. As you may know I've attended some blogger classes over there in the past and therefore I'm quite familiar with the Dutch blogging scene. It's so exciting to see all these fabulous ladies and gents again.

NL: De line-up klinkt geweldig; Dr. Lektroluv en een verrassingsact en al mijn favoriete bloggers van Nederland zullen er zijn. Zoals jullie misschien wel weten, woonde ik enkele blogger classes bij in het verleden en daardoor ben ik wel redelijk bekend met de Nederlandse blog scene. Wat geweldig dat ik al deze fantastische dames en heren weer opnieuw ga zien. 

Saturday Kevin and I will do some shopping, my first time in Amsterdam, yeah! I can't wait to discover the iconic Kalverstraat, PC Hoofdstraat,... Many stores are on my must-go list such as Topshop, Karen Millen and Abercrombie & Fitch.

NL: Zaterdag zullen Kevin en ik dan wat gaan shoppen, mijn eerste keer in Amsterdam, yeeh! Wat spannend om de iconische Kalverstraat en PC Hoofdstraat te ontdekken. Veel winkels staan op mijn must-go lijstje zoals Topshop, Karen Millen en Abercrombie & Fitch.
