FASHION: What's in a name?

The ultimate proof that you've made it big time as a celebrity is the fact that a bag is being named after you. Below you see my favourite bags named after celebrities. Which is your favourite?

FASHION: Cara Delevingne for Topshop

One of those famous people I'm totally smitten about is Cara Delevingne. It seems like she always does the right thing, makes the right deal and is with the right people at the right time. Her style is very typical British street style and basically any combo is possible. 

It seems only natural that Cara Delevingne is working together with the 100% British chain store Topshop for  the second season in a row. The collection is very 70'ies and has the model dressed in her typical tomboy style. The collection is available here and prices are between €8 and € 140. 

NL: Eén van die beroemde mensen waar ik helemaal gek van ben is Cara Delevingne. Het lijkt wel alsof ze altijd het juiste doet, de juiste deal maakt en met de juiste mensen op het juiste tijdstip is. Haar stijl is typisch Britse streetstyle en zo goed als elke combinatie is mogelijk. 

Het is dan ook haast vanzelfsprekend dat Cara Delevingne samenwerkt met de 100% Britse keten Topshop voor het tweede seizoen op rij. De collectie is erg jaren 70 en het model gaat gekleed in haar typische Tomboy stijl. De collectie is hier beschikbaar en de prijzen liggen tussen €8 en € 140. 

Cara Delevingne for Mulberry

Behind the scenes of London Fashion Week, Mulberry had some great news to announce to the world. The past year their sales had been decreasing so the brand did what they do best; lauching a bad linked to a it-girl. It seems like yesterday that the Alexa bag, named after Alexa Chung, and the Lana Del Rey bag conquered the world. Now it's Cara Delevingne's time to show the world she's British number one It-girl and make line of bags a success.

Delevigne helped with the designs for the three in one bag, it can be carried as backpack, shoulder bag or handbag. Different seizez, colors and textures will be available. 

All the bags have a small heart inside inspired by the tatoo of the model. Some limited editions will even have a lion printed on them, also as a reference to a tatoo. 

If you want  to start saving for this bag, I have good news; the launch will be mid August. The bad news is you will have to save quite a bit, the prices start from € 1.080 to € 3.000.
