Mijn favoriete schuimwijn komt uit het huis Bernard-Massard. In 1921 startte Jean-Bernard zijn wijnbouwbedrijf in de Moezelstreek. Na zijn overleden neemt de familie Clasen het bedrijf over. Het nieuwste product dat nu het levenslicht ziet is La Grande Cuvée. Deze schuimwijn is gemaakt met de traditionele champenoise technieken en is een mix van Chardonnay- en Pinot Noir druiven met typische Luxemburgse druiven als Pinot Blanc en Riesling. Met andere woorden: het beste van het beste.
Tijdens het proeven werd ik een fris fruitboeket gewaar, ideaal dus voor die warme zomeravonden. Ga zeker eens een kijkje nemen op de website van Bernard-Massard als je nog meer te weten wil komen over hun producten of spurt gewoon naar de dichtstbijzijnde supermarkt en haal je eigen Grande Cuvée in huis.
