FASHION: New York Fashion Week Streetstyle

I know New York Fashion Week is already quite some days behind us but I still wanted to share some streetstyle looks with you. The streets are where trends are really made. A mix and match of styles, brands, patterns and fabrics.

I think New York Fashion Week is the hardest of the four to dress up for because the Big Apple tends to be covered in snow in February. It's hard to juggle between two priorities; staying warm and being stylish. I selected some of my favourite looks, scroll down to see more pictures.

New York Fashion Week lijkt me de moeilijkste van de 4 modeweken om outfits samen te stellen want de Big Apple is in februari vaak nog met een laagje sneeuw bedekt. Het is dan ook echt een goochelkunstje tussen twee prioriteiten; warm blijven en stylish voor de dag komen. Ik selecteerde enkele van mijn favoriete looks, rol naar beneden voor meer foto's.

Fashion Trends spring 2014

Spring is right around the corner and this includes a cleaning up your closet and time for some new items. If you want to make your closet spring proof, keep these trends in mind.

Flower power

I don't think this trend needs any explanation. The first thing that pops into mind when you think about spring are of course flowers.

Shirt

A very classic and must-have piece for your wardrobe. A shirt is very versatile and it can by chic or sexy.

Water world

Remarkably a lot of designers used water prints in their collections. Hopefully the weather isn't going to be as wet as these outfits.
