FASHION: Trends FW16 met Esprit

Een nieuw seizoen betekent een nieuwe garderobe. Een goede garderobe bestaat voor mij uit een mix van trendy en draagbare items. Jammer genoeg beschik ik, en allicht jullie ook niet, over een ongelimiteerd budget. Mooie kleren en toch betaalbaar lijkt als een moeilijke opdracht. Een merk dat toch binnen deze lijn van verwachtingen ligt, is Esprit. Daarom deel ik met jullie mijn favoriete stuks van de www.Esprit.be website aan de hand van enkele trends die zij op hun website presenteren.

Streepjes

Streepjes gaan werkelijk nooit uit de mode en ook nu doen ze het weer goed. Je kunt ze op heel veel verschillende manieren dragen. Met de eerste blouse scoor je op een extra front van patches zijn super hip. Wil je een iets chiquere toets geven aan jouw outfit? Kies dan voor een hemd met strepen.

Kant

Winter is het feestseizoen bij uitstek. Een stofje dat dan steeds weer keert, is kant. Een jurkje met één mouw is een echte aanrader voor een eindejaarsfeestje, je zult zeker scoren! Het rechter bloesje met sterretjespatroon is ook een echte must-have. 

Echte winter items

Ook al willen we het misschien niet, toch blijven de temperaturen dalen naar het vriespunt. Warm induffelen is dan de boodschap. Winterkledij staat vaak haaks op mooie kledij in de mening van veel mensen. Tegenwoordig is dat echter niet nodig. Je kunt je voeten hullen in zachte sneeuwbootjes bezet met steentjes. Verder zijn er sjaals met toffe patronen (daar zijn de sterretjes weer) of mutsen met pom poms. 

Blauw is het nieuwe zwart

Zwart staat bekend als een veilige optie. Wil je toch een beetje pit in jouw outfit steken!? Kies dan voor blauw, niets is chiquer dan deze kleur! Natuurlijk kennen jullie al het klassieke, blauwe hemd. Zelf ben ik vooral fan van de tutu rok, lekker vrouwelijk en speels. Ook jeans speelt nog altijd mee in het modeland.

FASHION: Trend report Spring/Summer 2015

Spring is lurking around the corner and I really feel like stuffing my wardrobe with new items. Instead of just going on a shopping spree I try to be prepared for the battle and keep the new trends in mind. I make a difference between trends that seem to be short lived (not spending a lot of money on these) and trends that are here to stay. In today's blogpost I will share my favourite trends for this spring with you.

NL: Spring loert om de hoek en ik kan niet wachten om weer nieuwe spullen te kopen voor in mijn klerenkast. In plaats van in het wilde weg te gaan shoppen, probeer ik altijd voorbereid te zijn op de nieuwe trends. Daarin maak ik een onderscheid tussen de trends voor één seizoen (hier geef ik niet zoveel geld aan uit) en trends die een aantal jaartjes zullen meegaan. In de blogpost van vandaag deel ik mijn favoriete trends voor deze lente met jullie.

Beauty Trends spring 2014

Yesterday I showed you my favourite fashion trends for spring. But an outfit is nothing without some decent make-up to lift that outfit up. I really want to try to spice up my make up this season. I usually tend to stick to the same kind of products/colours in contradiction to my clothing style. I don't really know why, I guess it's all about changing my ritual. These are some of the trends I really want to try out this season. Let me know which trend is your favourite!

Little miss orange

The real dare devils go for bright orange this season. If this is too much for you, red or a pastel shades of orange are an option as well. If you really want to be on trend, go for a mat lipstick.

If you have been following my blog for a while, you know that gold is my favourite colour. This trend is already in my usual make up ritual. During the Christmas season from 2012 I found this perfect Dior eye shadow palette. I'm a little bit panicking because it's almost empty. But I guess this  season is the right time to move on because this spring it really is all gold that shines.

Fashion Trends spring 2014

Spring is right around the corner and this includes a cleaning up your closet and time for some new items. If you want to make your closet spring proof, keep these trends in mind.

Flower power

I don't think this trend needs any explanation. The first thing that pops into mind when you think about spring are of course flowers.

A very classic and must-have piece for your wardrobe. A shirt is very versatile and it can by chic or sexy.

Milan Fashion Week day 2

Day 2 from Milan Fashion week kicked off with the Blugirl fashion show. The decor had the looks of an old Italian villa which I absolutely adore. Remember I'm a sucker for everything old and slightly romantic.

But the most important thing about a fashion show are off course the clothes. The collection was divided in 3 parts: some black and classic looks, some romantic looks with lots of brocade and last but not least some looks in pastel shades. Again pastels remain on top!

I really liked almost every look, the romantic looks are my favourite. They have soft colors such as gold, beige and camel and can be mixed with almost every item in your wardrobe. You might not expect it but these looks were also best suited for fall and winter because of the amazing coats and furs.

Here are some of my favourite looks:

The second show I really wanted to see today was the Just Cavalli show. The collection was quite gloomy but still very chic. The Just Cavalli woman loves gold, brocade, fur and animals; all these elements were mixed into great winter looks. This collection is very wearable with lots of pants and coats to cover your skin. The details were once again magnificent.

Fashion trend: pastels

If there's one fashion trend taking the catwalks by storm, it's the pastel trend. Lots of outfits with pastel colours were seen in the collections for this upcoming spring. Of course street style is always way ahead so lots of fashion bloggers, models,... have already been spotted with this trend.

The pastel colour range is very wide; for  minty-green to lilac and baby blue. I really like this trend a lot but I have to admit that I don't have a pastel item in my wardrobe yet, except some earrings. Why? I'm honestly not quite sure. Somehow I guess I never found the right piece or didn't have the right items in my closet to match it with. So one of my fashion solutions for this year is trying to find that perfect pastel clothing piece. So how do you feel about this trend? Do you wear it?
