The product is in the usual Chanel lip gloss tube. The tube is see-through, a golden centerpiece and a black cap. On the cap, the Chanel logo is embellished in white.
NL: Het product zit in de gewoonlijke Chanel lipgloss tube. Deze tube is doorzichtig, met een gouden middenstuk en een zwarte dop. Op de dop is het Chanel logo in het wit aangebracht.
My opinion:
Usually I'm not a lip gloss person but sometimes applying lipstick is just too hard. I especially tend to go to lip glosses when I'm out for party because touching up my lipstick can be quite hard in overfull bathrooms and let's be honest: while being a little bit tipsy. So for my lip gloss I wanted something with a touch of colour and I had some good experiences with Chanel in the past.
The reason why I'm not a huge fan of lip glosses is because I hate the stickiness of most of them. The Blizzard by Chanel gives no sticky feeling at all so I was really relieved about this. The glittering effect is absolutely gorgeous but it's not like the particles are annoying or anything.
Another reason why I chose this lip gloss was because of the colour. I thought it would be something brownish but unfortunately the colour Blizzard turned out to be kind of see-through. I'm kind of disappointed by this because I wanted to add a pop of colour to my lips. As you can see in the swatch it seems to have some shade of brown, unfortunately this fades away once applied on the lips.
So overall the Chanel Levres Scintillantes is a very qualitative lip gloss. My only advice: pay a lot of attention while picking a colour. You can buy this product on the Ici Paris XL website for € 27,40.
NL: Normaal ben ik geen lipgloss persoon maar soms is het gewoon te moeilijk om weeral lippenstift aan te brengen. Ik greep vooral naar lipgloss als ik op stap ga omdat het bijwerken van je lippenstift een moeilijk werkje is op een overvol toilet en laten we eerlijk zijn: als je een glaasje teveel op hebt. Voor mijn nieuwe lipgloss wou ik dus eentje met wat kleur en door mijn goede ervaringen met Chanel in het verleden, koos ik opnieuw voor dit merk.
De reden waarom ik niet zo een fan ben van lipgloss is omdat ik echt een hekel heb aan het plakkerig gevoel. De Blizzard van Chanel geeft echter geen plakkerig gevoel dus dit was al een hele opluchting. Het glittereffect is ook echt prachtig en toch irriteren de glitterdeeltjes niet.
Een andere reden waarom ik deze lipgloss koos was omwille van de kleur. Ik dacht dat dit tegen het bruinachtige zou aanleunen maar jammer genoeg bleek de kleur Blizzard eerder doorzichtig te zijn. Dit was dus wel best teleurstellend want ik wou graag een tintje geven aan mijn lippen. Zoals je in de swatch kan zien, leek het wel bruinachtig te zijn maar jammer genoeg is dit dus niet meer zichtbaar op de lippen.
Dus samengevat: de Chanel Levres Scantillantes is een erg kwalitatief product. Mijn enige advies: besteed wat extra aandacht bij het uitkiezen van een kleur. Je kunt dit product kopen op de Ici Paris XL website voor € 27,40.
