Allicht herkennen jullie de volgende situatie. Mijn mama wou maar al te graag gebruik maken van mijn vrije dag om te gaan shoppen en ik ging mee om haar een plezier te doen. Eigenlijk had ik zelf niets nodig en wou ik een beetje mijn spaarrekening bij spekken. Maar dan... spot je iets in elke winkel die je binnen gaat. Bij dezen vond ik dat een shoplog nog wel eens op zijn plaats was. Opgepast: de situatie liep al snel uit de hand! ;-)

You probably all recognize the following situation. My mother thought my day off was the perfect excuses to do some shopping and who am I to say no!? I wasn't planning on buying anything because I'm in a money saving kind of space right now. But then... you spot basically nice stuff in all shops you enter. NL: Ik heb het echt gehad met de winter en mijn klerenkast is er ook klaar mee. Mijn laatste aankopen waren dan ook allemaal spullen uit de nieuwe lente/zomer collecties. Vermits het allicht nog wel een tijdje zal duren voordat ik deze daadwerkelijk kan dragen, wil ik jullie via deze blogpost mijn nieuwe pareltjes al tonen.

PS: Binnenkort kunnen jullie ook bepaalde stuks uit mijn klerenkast kopen. Later meer hierover.

ENG: I'm done with winter and so is my wardrobe. My latest purchases are all pieces from the new spring/summer collections. Because it might still be a while before I actually can wear these clothes, I wanted to already show them in this blogpost.

Dit weekend ging ik met mijn ouders de kerstmarkt in Keulen bezoeken. Wacht.... laat me mezelf corrigeren. Elk jaar gebruik ik de kerstmarkten als excuus om mijn ouders te overtuigen richting Duitsland te rijden. In realiteit spendeer ik maximum een halfuur tussen de kraampjes en de rest van de dag ga ik lekker eten en shoppen in de gewone winkels. Voor diegene die nog nooit naar Keulen geweest zijn: deze stad biedt een ruim aanbod van modeketens tot luxewinkels. Hieronder zien  jullie wat ik gekocht heb.

This weekend I convinced my parents to go to the Christmas market in Cologne. Wait... let me correct myself. Each year I use the Christmas markets as an excuse to push my parents to go to Germany. In reality I only spend about half an hour between the stands and the rest of the day I enjoyed some delicious food and shopping at the regular stores. For those who've never been to Cologne: the city offers a wide range of fashion chain stores to very luxurious brands. Below you can discover the items I bought.

Ik was al lang op zoek naar het perfecte coltruitje en een echte fashionista kan toch nooit weerstaan aan streepjes.

Michael Kors handbag

Keulen heeft een Michael Kors flagship store en onze Duitse buren bieden ook al eerder solden aan. Dit mooie exemplaar kocht ik dan ook met 50% korting. Als zelfs mijn papa zegt: "Koop deze handtas maar meteen want anders is hij weg.", dan weet je dat het goed zit. 

Cologne has a Michael Kors flagship store and our German neighbours already offer some sale reductions. This gorgeous bag came with a 50% reduction. When my dad says: " Buy this bag right away because otherwise it might be gone", you know it's a keeper.

NL: Deze week heb ik het geld weer goed laten rollen ;-) Ten eerste ging ik natuurlijk naar de langverwachte VIP voorverkoop van de Balmain x H&M collectie. Met een ellenlang wensenlijstje trok ik naar Brussel. Helaas vielen de kleren een beetje aan de kleine kant. Daarom opteerde ik voor de bontjas met groene afwerking en een blingbling clutch. Aanvankelijk was ik niet van plan om voor de clutch te gaan maar in het echt was de afwerking zo mooi en kon ik niet weerstaan.

Verder was ik al een heel tijd op zoek naar zwarte Stan Smith's maar nergens vond ik een leuk en vooral vrouwelijk model in maat 42. Op een dag kwam mijn mama met een leuk paar thuis en na lang zoeken vond ik op Zalando hetzelfde paar in mijn maat. Dank aan mama voor de inspiratie! Natuurlijk bleef ik nog een beetje op de Zalando website hangen en stuitte ik ook nog op deze korte laarzen. Me happy!

Ten slotte was ik toevallig bij JBC, een winkel die ik normaal passeer tijdens mijn shoptochten. Gelukkig deze keer niet. Eindelijk kan ik nu ook meedoen aan de fringe trend dankzij de leren rokje. 

ENG: This week I spent my money big time ;-) Firstly I went to the long awaited VIP presale of the Balmain x H&M collection. With a super long wishlist I drove to Brussels. Unfortunately the clothes were on the small side. Therefore I opted for the fur coat  and a shiny clutch. At first I wasn't planning on buying the clutch but the details are so beautiful and I couldn't resist.

I had been looking for Stan Smith's for quite a while now but I couldn't find a nice and female model in size 42. One day my mother came home with a nice pair and after a long search I found the same pair in my size on the Zalando website. Thank you mom for the inspiration! Of course I surfed some more on the Zalando website and also discovered these short boots. Me happy!

Last but not least I was at JBC, a store which I normally don't enter during my shopping adventures. Fortunately I decided otherwise this time. Finally I can join in on the fringe trend thanks to this leather skirt. 

Shoplog # 34

NL: Het is al een tijdje geleden sinds mijn laatste shoplog, eerlijk gezegd was ik deze categorie een beetje vergeten. *shame on me* Afgelopen weekend ging ik in Antwerpen shoppen en daar wist ik toch wel een aantal leuke items te scoren.

Ici Paris XL is altijd een must, deze keer ging ik naar buiten met een primer van Urban Decay en een oogpotlood van Chanel. Over Levi's jeans had ik al zoveel goeds gehoord en ik was al een tijdje op zoek naar een degelijke jeans. Het personeel van Levi's is super vriendelijke en helpt je in een no time de perfecte pasvorm vinden. Het belooft een koude winter te worden en dus schafte ik mee ook nog oorwarmers aan van Ugg. 

ENG: It's been a while since my last shoplog, honestly I kind of forgot about this category a little bit. *shame on me* Last weekend I did some shopping in Antwerp and I found some lovely items.

Ici Paris XL is always a must and this time I left the store with a primer from Urban Decay and an eye pencil from Chanel. I'd heard so many positive things about Levi's jeans and I had been looking for the perfect pair for quite a while. The personnel from Levi's was super friendly and helps you find the right fit in no time. It looks like it will be a chilly winter and so a pair of ear warmers from Ugg also went home with me.

My dad is always pushing me to save more and more money and right now I have 4 (!) different accounts on which I save money. Of course you need some money for urgencies and for when you retire but on the other hand I'm also the kind of person who lives right here and now. And I love indulging and pampering myself. The past week my dad's worst nightmare became true: I bought three handbags :D. 

First I got really obsessed over this pastel blue rucksack, which you could already spot in this blogpost. In the weekend I visited Maasmechelen Village, it's a place with a lot of outlet shops. You can purchase so many items from last season with a huge discount. Michael Kors is one of the many brands that is being represented in Maasmechelen Village. So far I hadn't bought a bag yet  in the outlet shop because the models I prefer aren't usually available anymore. But this time I spotted two bags. I remember craving the cameo bag last year but I didn't want to pay too much for this special print. The other bag I purchased is this tote bag on the left. This model is very trendy this season and I just thought: whatever, I buy them both. 

NL: Mijn papa verplicht me steeds om meer en meer te sparen, momenteel heb ik maar liefst 4(!) verschillende spaar accounts/opties. Natuurlijk heb je wat spaargeld nodig voor noodgevallen of voor als je op pensioen gaat, maar aan de andere kant ben ik ook het soort persoon die in het hier en nu leeft. En ik hou er van om eens gek te doen en mezelf te verwennen. Afgelopen week werd mijn papa's grootste nachtmerrie werkelijkheid: Ik kocht 3 handtassen :D.

Eerst was ik helemaal geobsedeerd met de lichtblauwe rugzak rechts, je zag hem ook al voorbij komen in deze outfit post. Afgelopen weekend ging ik dan naar Maasmechelen Village, een plaatst met veel outlet winkels. Je kunt er veel items van vorig seizoen vinden met grote kortingen. Michael Kors is één van de merken, die er gerepresenteerd worden. Tot nu toe had ik echter nog nooit een tas gekocht omdat de modellen die ik wou, er niet meer waren. Maar deze keer merkte ik maar liefst twee tassen op. Ik herinner me nog dat ik helemaal gek was vorig jaar van deze cameo tas maar dat ik niet bereid was om zoveel geld uit te geven aan een speciale print. De andere tas die ik kocht, is de tas die je links ziet. Dit model is dit seizoen erg hip en ik dacht bij mezelf: "ik koop ze gewoon allebei".

1. Primark red and yellow shirts

I went to Eindhoven and my first stop was of course Primark. These two shirts are in my favourite colours made it into my wardrobe. Do you like how I combined the yellow shirt in this outfit?

2. Ici Paris XL

Ici Paris XL made quite some money thanks to me the past week. I restocked my essentials with the Advance night Repair and the Idealist from Estée Lauder. I spoiled myself as well with a red nail polish from Dior and one of their new Tie Dye blushes. Reviews will hopefully be soon on the blog.

4. Earrings

My mom got us these look a like Dior earrings.

5. Bracelets

I needed some new bracelets preferably some more delicate pieces. I indulged on two Cartier look a like bracelets and one from My jewellery.

I know it's been a while since my last shoplog. It's not like I haven't done some shopping lately ... good God luckily that's not the case ;-) But I bought some stuff online and not at the same time so I decided to collect my new things in one shoplog.

NL: Ik weet dat het alweer een tijdje geleden is sinds mijn laatste shoplog. Het is niet dat ik de afgelopen tijd niet geshopt heb, godzijdank is dat niet het geval ;-) Maar ik kocht hier en daar wat spullen online en vond het leuker om alles in één shoplog te verzamelen. 

1. Louis Vuitton Scarf
It's actually not mine but my mother's. But I really love the colour, it's so easy to mix with a lot of clothes.

I had been searching months for new ballerinas when I finally found this perfect pair on Zalando.

3. Supertrash dress
Another item I had been searching for very long. This Supertrash dress was sold out online and in stores but luckily I still found one in my size on Winkelstraat.nl.

4. Guerlain L'extase perfume

I got this perfume from Belmodo.tv to compete in a contest to win a citytrip. Unfortunately I did not win the contest but got to try out this amazing perfume. I hope to review it soon.

5. Marc Jacobs Perfume  + necklace

I guess it was my lucky month because I won another perfume and necklace by Marc Jacobs.

A decent black nail polish was still missing in my beauty cabinet, but this gap has been filled by my latest shopping trip. The readers, who follow me on Instagram as well, surely know that I have a new, favourite brand. It's a Dutch brand called Nikkie. Recently I bought a skirt and now I ordered this pastel pink dress online. Do you like it?

NL: Een degelijke zwarte nagellak mankeerde nog in mijn beautykastje, maar dit gat is nu gevuld dankzij mijn laatste shoppingstrip. De lezers, die me ook op Instagram volgen, zullen zeker al gemerkt hebben dat ik een nieuw favoriet merk heb. I'm totally getting into the spring mood and that means shopping for new stuff. I went to Tongeren and Maastricht. I spotted some many gorgeous items especially at Supertrash and Nikkie. I'm still going to order one or two items from the Nikkie collection online. Unfortunately the dress from Supertrash I wanted, isn't available in my size anymore. 

NL: Ik ben volledig in lente modus en dat betekent natuurlijk shoppen voor nieuwe items. Ik ben naar Tongeren en Maastricht geweest. Vooral bij Supertrash en Nikkie zag ik heel veel supermooie dingen. Ik ga nog één of twee kleedjes van de Nikkie collectie online bestellen. Jammer genoeg was het jurkje dat ik bij Supertrash op het oog had, niet meer beschikbaar in mijn maat.

I'm ill in bed with the flu once again. The past year I haven ill so often and I've just had it with resting. I'm the kind of person who wants to live life to the fullest and do as much as I possibly can. Luckily I have my new goodies to cheer me up. Below you can see the items which I bought the past weeks. Although I had a busy week I managed to shop some items in Bilzen and Antwerp. The make-up products are all essentials I needed to refill. I discovered the John Breck T-shirt on Lima's blog and was so happy when my favourite store started selling the brand. My mom actually bought the Gucci scarf but I get to wear it as well since she lends mine all the time. Which is your favourite item?

1) Guerlain Kiss Kiss Lipstick : When I spotted this lipstick I fell instantly in love with the mat finish and the sparkles in it, which are not very visible in this picture.

2) O.P.I. Correct & clean-up stick: At some fashion events, a nail stylist is present, they often work with O.P.I.. This correction pen already caught my eye and this will come in very handy for someone clumsy like me.

3) Dior Trafalgar Eye Shadow: This eye shadow palette has been on my wishlist ever since it caught my eye months ago unfortunately it was quickly sold out over here in Belgium. Luckily Douglas Düsseldorf had one left.

4) H&M leather peplum top: Leather is amongst my favorite fabrics lately so I couldn't leave this top behind in the shop.

The end of 2014 is coming closer and closer and so the search for another perfect New Year's Eve outfit begun. I spotted a gorgeous Karen Millen dress on their website and decided I would go to Brussels to try it on instead of buying it online. Meanwhile I had already seen the perfect Dorothy Perkins heels on the Zalando website to match the dress with. Eventually the dress I chose first didn't fit that great so I ended up choosing another Karen Millen dress. My readers are of course the first people to see this dress together with the other items that I bought this week.

NL: Het einde van 2014 komt dichter en dichter bij en de zoektocht voor de perfecte Nieuwjaarsavond outfit was dan ook begonnen. Ik spotte een prachtig Karen Millen kleedje op hun website en dus besloot ik naar Brussel te gaan om het aan te proberen in plaats van het online te kopen. Ondertussen had ik al de perfecte Dorothy Perkins hakken gezien op de Zalando website om te matchen met het kleedje. Uiteindelijk paste het kleedje, dat ik eerst koos, niet zo geweldig maar gelukkig waren er nog andere mooie opties bij Karen Millen. Mijn lezers zijn natuurlijk de eersten die het kleedje te zien krijgen samen met de andere items die ik kocht.
