FASHION: Converse All-Stars

Sneakers zijn al een tijdje terug van weg geweest. Veel merken mogen dan wel de titel willen claimen van de meest modieuze sneaker in huis te hebben. Maar slechts één merk kan claimen dat ze de sneaker uitvonden. Converse bracht een honderdtal jaar geleden de All-Stars sneaker uit en dit is tot de dag van vandaag een schot in de roos. In het constant veranderlijke modelandschap heeft Converse altijd vast gehouden aan zijn tactiek. 

Zelf ben ik ook een grote fan van het design omdat je de All Stars eindeloos kunt combineren. NL: Een tijdje terug vertelde ik jullie al eens dat ik dringend wat meer basis stukken moest kopen om mijn klerenkast aan te vullen. Deze leuke Zara t-shirt maakt deel uit van deze missie. Het shirtje koste maar € 10 maar zit super comfortabel en kan op talloze wijzen gecombineerd worden. Wat vinden jullie er van?

ENG: A while I told you I need some more basic pieces in my wardrobe. This pretty Zara t-shirt is part of that mission. The shirt hardly costed €10 but is super comfortable and can be worn in so many multiple ways. Do you like this shirt?

OUTFIT: Festivalitis

NL: Dit weekend stond mijn eerste festival op de agenda; Pempkes Beatz. Dit is een kleiner festival bij mij in de buurt maar desalniettemin wou ik festival proof op de afspraak verschijnen. Denk hierbij aan lace-up tops, leer, chokers en rugzakken. Wat vinden jullie van deze outfit?

ENG: This weekend my first festival was on the agenda: Pempkes Beatz. This is a smaller festival in my neighbourhood but I wanted to be festival proof anyway. I was thinking lace-up tops, leather, chokers and back packs. Do you like my outfit?

OUTFIT: All American

NL: De temperaturen beginnen te zakken en dat betekent meerder laagjes overéén dragen. Niet dat ik er echt fan van ben maarja. Zoals ik vorige week in de shoplog liet zien, heb ik mijn eerste Levi's jeans gekocht. Tot nu toe ben ik erg tevreden van de pasvorm. Voor een dagje shoppen in Maastricht koos ik voor een comfortabele outfit met de Tommy Hilfiger t-shirt die ik kocht in hun pop-up store bij Smets.

ENG: Temperatures are decreasing and that means putting on different layers. Not that I'm really a fan of layering but anyways. Last week you could read about my first Levi's pants and so far I'm really pleased how it fits. For a day of shopping in Maastricht I opted for a comfortable outfit with the Tommy Hilfiger t-shirt which I bought at their pop-up store at Smets.

FASHION:EscapeShoes

With Rock Werchter the Belgian festival season has officially started. Regular festival visitors know of course that each season you have to prepare your wardrobe and more importantly: the shoe game. Multiple day festivals really take a toll on your feet plus over the course of a few days the weather can change from rainy to sunny.

My shoe essentials for festivals are: sneakers, boots and  espadrilles. Since I'm lacking time to go shopping at the moment, I started surfing the internet and I ended up on the webshop EscapeShoes.
This shop has a wide range of shoes, bags and clothes and they ship internationally. Below are some of my favourite shoes for this festival season:

Espadrilles - UGG

Espadrilles have replaced ballerinas as the ultimate summer shoe. All the cool kids are wearing them.

Sneakers - Converse

Converse is probably the best sold shoe brand in the world and I'm a fan as well. Sneakers are so comfortable yet fashionable as well. Plus: my mom washes my Converse sneakers in the laundry machine and they are like new again afterwards.

Sneakers - Nike

Nike sneakers are very fashionable as well and available in the most amazing colour palettes. You will definitely draw attention on yourself with a fabulous pair of Nike sneakers.

Boots - Hunter

Belgian summer can still bring along a lot of rain so a pair of rain boots are definitely a necessity during festival season. Kate Moss has been a fan of Hunter for years. The boots are available in different colours and sizes. 

OUTFIT: When in Florence

After looking for a maxi skirt for over a year I finally found my match at Zara. I still have to buy a gorgeous blouse to combine it with but for now this top will do. I wore this look during our second day in Florence to do some shopping and sightseeing. Therefore I opted for my Converse sneakers! Keep an eye on the blog for more outfits and reports about Florence!

NL: Nadat ik meer dan een jaar op zoek ben geweest naar een maxi rok, vond ik eindelijk mijn match bij Zara. Ik wil nog graag een prachtige blouse erbij kopen maar voorlopig is deze blouse goed. Ik droeg deze look tijdens onze tweede dag in Firenze om te gaan shoppen en wat sightseeing te doen. Daarom koos ik dan ook voor Converse sneakers! OUTFIT: Sometimes you gotta be your own sunshine

Last week I bought some snake print pants so that means a new outfit of course. After such a long winter I've had enough of dark combos so I decided to throw my yellow Zara coat in the mix. By the way: yellow and dark blue must be one of my favourite colour combinations.

NL: Afgelopen week kocht een slangenprint broek dus dat betekent natuurlijk dat ik zo snel mogelijk een nieuwe outfit moest samen stellen. Na zo een lange winter had ik echt genoeg van donkere combo's en besloot ik dus om mijn gele Zara jas in de mix te gooien. PS: geel en donkerblauw is één van mijn favoriete kleurencombinaties.
