OUTFIT: Black days

NL: Tijdens het Antwerp Shopping Festival ging ik uitgebreid shoppen met mijn mama en tikte ik twee jurkjes van BCBG MaxAzria op de kop. Het exemplaar uit deze shoot heeft iets duisters en die lijn wou ik ook doortrekken in de volledige shoot. De paarse en roze tinten geven toch nog een andere twist aan de outfit. Wat vinden jullie?

ENG: During the Antwerp Shopping Festival I shopped until I dropped with my mother and purchased two BCBG MaxAzria dresses. The piece from this shoot triggers my dark side and I wanted to extend this feeling throughout the shoot. The colours purple and pink add a softer twist to the outfit. What do you think?

FASHION: Girl Power

NL: Hello Girls en boys, hier ben ik weer met een nieuwe blogpost. Bij deze outfit hoort toch wel een serieuzer verhaal dus hou jullie klaar. Een tijdje geleden kreeg ik een mailtje van Jimani Collections, een webshop met een doel. De Jimani juweeltjes worden hand gemaakt door stuk voor stuk speciale vrouwen. Vrouwen, uit armere landen, die voorheen financieel niet voor hun familie konden zorgen. Deze vrouwen vervaardigen elke dag de mooiste juweeltjes gemaakt van echte koraal, keramiek of been uit Nairobi (Kenia). In ruil krijgen deze dames van Jimani uiteraard een eerlijk loon en staan ze nu een stuk sterker in het leven. Jij kunt uiteraard deze dames een handje helpen door een juweeltje te bestelling op de website. Van Girl Power gesproken!

Als we over Girl Power spreken, denken we natuurlijk ook aan de Spice Girls en van daaruit is de stap naar de nineties snel gezet. Slip dresses zijn het volgende kledingstuk uit de jaren '90 dat zijn comeback maakt. Mijn slip dress is van St. Studio, nog zo een merk dat mij als vrouw veel zelfvertrouwen schenkt! Women, from a pore region in the world, who couldn't provide financially for their families. Speaking of girl power always reminds me of the Spice Girls and the nineties. Slip dresses are the next pieces of clothing that make their comeback straight from the nineties. My slip dress is from St. Studio, another brand which empowers women! Do you like my Jimani necklace?

OUTFIT: Cold shoulder

NL: De blote schouder topjes; anno zomer 2016 kan je ze niet meer uit het straatbeeld wegdenken. Het is dan ook een subtiele manier om een beetje huid te tonen. Al vallen eerlijk gezegd niet alle topjes even goed mee. Doordat dit topje van een soort katoen is schuiven de arm stukken makkelijk over mijn schouder, byebye blote schouders dus. Plus het kreukt ook redelijk snel. Achja, al doende leert men zeker!? Wel ben ik erg te spreken over de baby blauwe kleur. Om toch wat pit in de outfit te brengen, opteerde ik ervoor om deze top te combineren met mijn leren kokerrok. Wat vinden jullie ervan?

ENG: The bare shoulder top; you can't imagine them not being everywhere in the streets right now. Off-the-shoulder tops are the perfect way to reveal a bit of skin subtly. Although I have to admit that not all of these tops fit perfectly. This top is made of cotton, due to this fabric the pieces on my arm rise on to my shoulder, byebye bare shoulders. It also easily cringes. Well, by trying on different things one learns what fits best I suppose!? I'm pleased about the baby blue shade of this top though. To give this outfit an edgy vibe I decided to combine the top with my leather pencil skirt. How do you feel about my outfit?

OUTFIT: Go Belgium!

NL: De laatste twee weken is het wat rustiger geweest op de blog en dit heeft allemaal met het EK voetbal te maken. Ik volg de prestaties van de Rode Duivels op de voet en met de nodige katertjes van dien. Supporteren dien je als modeblogger uiteraard in stijl te doen en dat gaat perfect met de toffe O'rèn sweaters. Het leuke aan deze zomercollectie is dat de truien een stuk minder dik zijn als de winter versies en zoals jullie weten hou ik ook wel van de nodige bling bling in een outfit. Op naar de volgende rond op het EK: Belgique Belchique!!

ENG: The past two weeks it has been a bit quiet on the blog due to the European Championships football. I'm following every move of the Red Devils with a lot of hangovers as a result so far. Being a fashion blogger supporting in style is of course a must and the O'rèn sweaters are definitely perfect for doing so. As you all know I love some bling bling in an outfit. Up to the next round with the Red Devils: Belgique Belchique!

NL: Wat is er zaliger dan kleren te kunnen delen met je mama? Niets natuurlijk! Deze blouse van Supertrash kochten we samen en deed droeg ik voor een diner tijdens onze vakantie. Wat vinden jullie van de outfit?

OUTFIT: Rainy Nice

NL: Deze morgen stond ik op onder een grijze hemel en er vielen bakken regen uit de lucht. Zucht... er zijn wel fijnere manieren om je vakantie te starten. Gelukkig liggen er over de Côte D'Azur verspreidt verschillende mooie stadjes verspreidt. Dus trokken we richting Nice. Om toch een beetje het zomer gevoel te krijgen, droeg ik een witte broek en mijn nieuwe off-the-shoulder top van Zara. Wat vinden jullie van deze outfit? 

ENG: I woke up this morning beneath a grey sky and it was raining cats and dogs. Sigh... there are definitely better ways to start your holiday. Luckily the Côte D'Azur is filled with gorgeous towns, we opted for Nice today. To get into the summer mood in spite of the weather I wore my white pants and my new off-the-shoulder top from Zara.
