OUTFIT: Lady in red

NL: Hier ben ik weer met een tweede outfit post van Sicilië. Deze foto's zijn getrokken tijdens de zonsondergang in het kleine stranddorpje waar wij verbleven. Ik was aangenaam verrast door de talloze prachtige plaatjes in ons dorpje maar hierover later meer. Afgelopen jaar kocht ik dit rode Ted Baker jurkje en het werd snel een favoriet om op stap mee te gaan. Ik realiseerde me dat ik nog geen outfit post had met dit jurkje. Ik hoop dat jullie deze post leuk vinden!

ENG: Here I am with a second outfit post from Sicily. These pictures were taken during sunset in the little beach town in which we were staying. I was surprised by the many gorgeous places in our town but more about that later. Last year I bought this red Ted Baker dress and it quickly became a favourite for going out. I realised I didn't have an outfit post with this dress yet. Hope you like it!

OUTFIT: First day in Sicily

NL: Joepie, eindelijk heb ik tijd gevonden om mijn foto's van Sicilië te bewerken. Ik was 3,5 dag in Sicilië en deze korte trip stond vooral in het teken van even tot rust komen. De eerste dag hebben we dan ook lekker op het strand liggen zonnen. Dit zie je dan ook terug in mijn tintje op deze foto's ;-) De luipaard broek en het oranje topje hebben jullie natuurlijk al beide apart zien voorbij komen op de blog maar deze combinatie vind ik persoonlijk ook erg geslaagd. 

ENG: Yeah, I finally found some time to edit the pictures of Sicily. I was 3,5 days in Sicily and I mainly wanted to rest a bit after a very busy summer. The first day we went to the beach to enjoy the sun. You probably notice this in my complexion in these pictures ;-) I have shown both the leopard pants and the orange top before on the blog but in separate outfit posts. Personally I think they go together as well.

OUTFIT: Comfortable in Como

You probably already read on this blog, that I'm on holiday in Italy at Lake Como and Lake Garda. Our stay at Lake Como couldn't pass without a visit to the city Como. This city offers gorgeous tourist attractions and lovely shops. The temperatures keep on rising so I opted for a dress with light fabrics and comfortable shoes. 

NL: Zoals je allicht al gelezen hebt, ben ik momenteel op vakantie aan het Italiaanse Como meer en Garda meer. Ons verblijf aan het Como meer kon natuurlijk niet voorbijgaan zonder een bezoekje aan de stad Como zelf. Deze stad biedt zowel prachtige bezienswaardigheden als leuke winkeltjes. De temperaturen blijven hier stijgen en dus koos ik voor een kleedje met lichte stof en makkelijk schoeisel.

OUTFIT: You're gonna hear me roar

This is my second outfit from Barcelona which I wore on my last day there. The weather was so weird: at times it was sunny and hot and at other times it was raining. Therefore I absolutely didn't know what to wear. My beloved Kenzo sweater kept my warm the whole day and can't stop loving it.

NL: Dit is mijn tweede outfit van Barcelona die ik droeg tijdens mijn laatste dag daar. Het weer was zo raar: op sommige mensen was het zonnig en op andere momenten regende het dan weer. Daardoor wist ik echt niet wat aan doen. Mijn geliefde Kenzo trui hield mij warm gedurende de dag, deze trui is echt een blijvertje.

OUTFIT: Summertime sadness

While editing these pictures I felt some kind of sadness creeping over me. I remember, while taking these pictures, I felt annoyed with the heath and how I had to put up my hair. And now I miss the sun on my skin so much. It seems fall is already slowly arriving and I can't believe we are looking forward to a cold winter. I guess that's the way the human mind works: we always want what we can't have at that moment.

NL: Terwijl ik deze foto's aan het bewerken was, voelde ik een gevoel van droefheid over mij komen. Ik herinner me, dat terwijl we deze foto's waren aan het maken, dat het  zo warm was dat mijn schmink niet goed bleef zitten en ik mijn haar omhoog moest steken. En nu mis ik de zon alweer op mijn huid. Het lijkt erop dat de herfst er al stilletjes aan komt en de winter gaat er weer zo snel zijn. Dat is waarschijnlijk hoe het menselijke brein werkt: we willen steeds hebben wat we op dat moment niet kunnen hebben.
