OUTFIT: Lace-up bodysuit

NL: De lace-up bodysuit is één van dit it-items voor dit seizoen. Als ik andere meiden er mee zag rond lopen, dacht ik altijd van: wow, dat meisje moet toch veel zelfvertrouwen hebben. En na twee avonden in mijn bodysuit, besef ik dat je wel tegen veel opmerkingen en bekijks moet kunnen. 

De eerste keer droeg ik mijn bodysuit tijdens een avondje uit eten op vakantie met mijn ouders. Misschien niet de meest perfecte gelegenheid maar ik wou toch de test doen. Mijn vader vond het vreselijk om zijn dochter hierin te zien ;-) De tweede keer was voor een avondje uit in Hasselt, ook nu konden mannen niet stoppen met vragen te stellen. Daarom sta ik een beetje twijfelachtig om de bodysuit weer aan te doen. Wat vinden jullie? Bij welke gelegenheid haal ik hem best weer uit de kast?

ENG: The lace-up bodysuit is one of those it-items for this season. Whenever I saw other girls wearing it, I always thought to myself: wow, that girl must definitely have a lot of confidence. And after two nights in my bodysuit, I realise that you have to be able to take quite some remarks and attention. 

The first time I wore my bodysuit for dinner with my parents during out holiday. Maybe not the perfect occasion but I wanted to do the test anyway. My father hated seeing my in a clothing piece like this ;-) The second time was during a night out in Hasselt, again men couldn't stop asking questions about my bodysuit. I was so annoyed by the end of the night that I'm seriously doubting to wear it again. What do you guys think? Which occasion would be better suited to wear the bodysuit again?

OUTFIT: Striped Crop Top

NL: Crop tops zijn één van die kledingstukken die de laatste seizoenen in de mode zijn gekomen. Persoonlijk heb ik een haat- liefdesverhouding ermee. Ik vind crop tops heel mooi en sexy maar moet toch een beetje opletten hoe ik het combineer met mijn figuur. Meestal ga ik voor een hoge rok zodat mijn buik toch bedekt blijft. Hebben jullie ook zo van die kledingstukken die wat moeilijker zijn voor jullie figuur?

ENG: Crop tops are one of those clothing pieces which have really been in style the past few seasons. Personally I have a love- hate relationship with them. I think crop tops are definitely very pretty and sexy but I have to look how I combine them keeping  my figure in mind. Usually I opt for a skirt covering my waistline zo my tummy is covered up. Do you have a clothing piece which is hard to wear with your figure?

OUTFIT: Off the shoulder

NL:  Je hebt ze allicht al opgemerkt in het straatbeeld en modemagazines: de off the shoulder topjes. Deze topjes onthullen je schouders en zorgen op een subtiele manier voor een sexy toets in jouw outfit. Rood is één van mijn lievelingskleuren en deze top kon ik dan ook niet laten hangen toen ik onlangs op de opening van het nieuwe H&M filiaal in Antwerpen aanwezig was. Luipaardprint vind ik altijd bijzonder mooi staan bij rood dus vandaar deze clutch. Wat vinden jullie van deze outfit?

ENG: You've probably already spotted them in the streets and fashion magazines: the off the shoulder tops. These tops reveal your shoulders and subtly put a sexy touch into your outfit. Red is one of my favourite colours and I couldn't resist when I spotted this top when I attended the opening of the new H&M store in Antwerp. Leopard matches perfectly with red so that's why I opted for this clutch. How do you feel about this outfit?

OUTFIT: Maxi skirts are here to stay

NL: Na het bekijken van de collecties voor deze lente weet ik één ding zeker: maxi rokken en jurken blijven nog minstens één seizoen langer een hit. Eén van de mooiste exemplaren die ik toe nu toe spotte, is de gouden rok van Elysée Fashion. Elysée Fashion is een jong Belgisch merk dat draagbare stuks aanbiedt maar met toch net dat tikje meer. 

In mijn naaste omgeving weet ik dat veel vrouwen het niet aandurven om een maxi rok te dragen. Dit is nochtans jammer want zoals jullie in de shoot hieronder zien, is dit item erg draagbaar voor elk figuur. Mijn vriendin Karen is aan de kleinere kant en redelijk tenger gebouwd. Deze draagt het exemplaar van Elysée fashion. Ikzelf ben vrij groot en draag een rok van Atos Lombardini. 

FR: After looking through the collections for this spring I know one thing for sure: maxi skirts and dresses are here to stay for at least another season. One of the most gorgeous pieces I spotted, was a golden skirt by Elysée Fashion. Elysée Fashion is a young Belgian brand that offers wearable pieces with an extra touch. 

In my close environment a lot of women are afraid to wear maxi skirts. I feel like this is such a shame because a maxi skirt, like you can see below, is very wearable for every body type. My friend Karen is kind of small. She's wearing a skirt from Elysée Fashion. I'm quite tall and I'm wearing a skirt of Atos Lombardini.

OUTFIT: Never say never

NL: Hier ben ik eindelijk met een nieuw blogpost. Met alle feestelijkheden had ik geen om te posten. Heb je een leuke tijd gehad met jouw familie en vrienden? Om het feestgevoel nog een beetje levend te houden, haalde ik eindelijk met pailletten broek uit de kast. Ik hoop dat jullie deze outfit leuk vinden. 

ENG: Here I am with finally a new blog post. With all the festivities I didn't have any time at all to post. Did you have a nice time with your family and friends? To keep  the holiday feeling alive I finally took my embellished pants out of the closet. I hope you like the outfit.

OUTFIT: Antwerp Fashion Festival

NL: Twee weken geleden was het weer zover: Antwerp Fashion Festival. De winkels bleven 's avonds later open en overal waren leuke evenementen en kortingen. Helaas was het dit jaar niet zo goed weer en bleef de grote massa dan ook achterwege. Daardoor hadden we de straten wel voor onszelf en konden we goed shooten! 

ENG: Twee weeks ago it was that time again: Antwerp Fashion Festival. The shops stayed open late and organised some fun events and reductions. Too bad the weather wasn't really that great so it was less busy than last year's AFF. On the upside, we could easily shoot in the streets!
