EVENT: Scapa Sports Beach Polo

NL: Ik ben nog altijd aan het nagenieten van een TOP weekend! Scapa nodigde mij uit om hun beach polo event bij te wonen, het ideale excuus voor mijn beste vriendin Anouk en mij om een weekendje Knokke te boeken. Scapa is een Belgisch merk voor het traditionele gezin dat houdt van elegantie en kwaliteit. Als ik denk aan Scapa, schieten de woorden klasse, kennis van zaken en service mij te binnen. Het Scapa beach polo event lag volledig in deze lijn van verwachtingen.

Midden op dag werden we hartelijk ontvangen op het strand in Knokke. Scapa voorzag ons van overheerlijke hapjes en vooral een hele hoop drank. Al nippend aan onze gin en champagne glazen genoten van uitzicht op het strand en de beach polo wedstrijden. Tussendoor kunt je genieten van tof gezelschap, hippe beats en ook een modeshow. Tijdens deze modeshow toonde Scapa hun mooiste outfits van deze zomer en volgende winter. Scrol zeker naar onder om een impressie te krijgen van onze geweldige dag met Scapa.

ENG: I'm still smiling after an AMAZING weekend! Scapa invited me to their Beach Polo event, the perfect excuses for my best friend Anouk and me to book a get-away to Knokke. Scapa is a Belgian brand for the traditional family that loves elegance and quality. If I think about Scapa the words class, know-how and service pop into my mind. The Scapa Beach Polo event was everything I expected and more.

In the early afternoon we got warmly greeted on the beach of Knokke. Scapa provided us with delicious bits and especially a lot of drinks. While sipping our gin or glass of champagne we enjoyed a view on the beach and the beach polo games.  In between we had some great company, listened to the newest beats and of course watched the fashion show. During this fashion show Scapa showed their most gorgeous looks for this summer and next winter. Scroll below to get an impression of our amazing day with Scapa. 

TRAVEL: Knokke

The weekend before last I went to Knokke. Knokke is the most luxurious beach town in Belgium. I visit it at least once a year because even one day in Knokke feels like a mini vacay. Knokke is classy and timeless. The white houses which are spread all over the town are so cute. Knokke is also amongst my favourite cities to shop in Belgium. My favourites: Louis Vuitton, Ironie and Zara (the collection is more seaside orientated). But Knokke has so much more to offer. Below you can discover some of my hotspots.

Memlinc Palace Hotel

Usually I only stay in Knokke for one day but a few weeks ago I stayed overnight. I opted for the Memlinc Palace hotel. This hotel is situated right in the centre of Knokke with the greatest shops, best beach bars and yummiest restaurants nearby. The hotel reflects the old glory of Knokke and is very chic and clean. There's plenty of entertainment with different restaurants, a bar and a roof top bar. 

Restaurant Firenze

Restaurant Firenze is located only a few metres away from the Memlinc Palace hotel. In the evening you can choose a four course meal which costed me only € 23 euro. The Italian food is authentic and the service excellent. 

Jackie-Jane

Each year pop-up stores appear in Knokke. This year's number one hot spot is Jackie-Jane by blogger Nanouk. Jackie-Jane offers a mix of vintage designer items and designs by Nanouk herself and Freya Poppe from Tutu Chic. The Chaneloise sweater was already quite some time on my wish list and I can't wait to wear it in one of my future outfit posts. 

Other must-do's

La Plaza is situated right in front of Hotel Memlinc and perfect for a light lunch. The life of Knokke is situated around this square so expect a lot of interesting sightings.

In the afternoon Siësta beach is the place to be for some beats and gins. It's the perfect spot to get a tan and relax a bit in style. 

You can't leave Knokke with passing by Glacier La Poste. This is the best ice cream in Knokke and the list of different tastes is endless.

EVENT: Twin-Set Fall/winter presentation // Nacht van het Zoute

ENG: Last weekend my bff Anouk and I enjoyed some decadence in Knokke. Knokke is the most luxurious city at the Belgian seaside, you can compare it to Saint-Tropez in France for example. Once a year the Nacht van het Zoute is organised, a night filled with fashion, drinks and the most important thing: being noticed. The luxurious shops are open that night and costumers can discover the new fall/winter collections. I was invited to the Twin-Set store amongst others where I spotted a lot of nice fabrics such as lace, suede, wool and sequins. Below you see a recap of my evening.

NL: Afgelopen weekend konden mijn beste vriendin en ik een beetje decadentie meepikken in Knokke. Knokke is de meest luxueuze badstad van België, een beetje te vergelijken met Saint-Tropez in Frankrijk bijvoorbeeld. Eénmaal per jaar wordt er het Nacht van het Zoute georganiseerd, een avond gevuld met mode, drankjes en er tellen maar twee dingen: zien en gezien worden. De luxe boetieks houden die avond de deuren ook langer open om zo de nieuwe Herfst/winter collectie aan het publiek voor te stellen. Zo was ik onder andere uitgenodigd bij Twin-Set waar ik veel luxe stofjes spotte zoals kant, suède, wol en pailletten. Hieronder vindt je alvast een kleine impressie.

OUTFIT: A day at Knokke

I spend my Easter Sunday at the Belgian seaside in Knokke. This is the most luxurious and my favorite place to be at our coast. Lots of amazing brands such as Phillipe Plein, Louis Vuitton and Hermès own a store there. Add up some great multibrand stores and it's a real heaven for shopaholics such as myself.

Since I'm trying to save up some money to spend during my holiday in Tuscany this summer, I didn't buy that much this time around. I'll show you my new goodies in my next shoplog. 

This article is about my outfit though. The weather wasn't that great and it was very windy. Still I couldn't resist the urge to put on a dress. I got to wear my fedora finally. Let me know what you think about the outfit.
