EVENT: Goldie The Borrel FW 16/17

NL: We beleven de warmste nazomer in de mensheid en bij deze temperaturen zijn de wintercollecties allicht het laatste waar jullie mee bezig zijn. Maar ik als blogger ben er natuurlijk wel al mee bezig.

Mijn eerste modeshow dit seizoen was deze van Goldie Herentals. Deze klassevolle modezaak verkoopt merken uit het iets duurdere middensegment. Aan ene kant kan je er voor oude bekende merken zoals Twin-Set en Patrizia Pepe. Anderzijds wist Goldie me te verbazen met hippe army jackets, bond vestjes en flashy designs van merken zoals 8PM of Alice & Trixie. Hieronder vind je een slideshow met de tofste looks. ENG: We are experiencing the hottest Indian summer in Belgium ever and the winter collections are probably the last thing on your mind. But as a blogger I off course am already looking forward to what's to come. 

My first fashion show of the season was at Goldie Herentals. This classy fashion shop sells brands from the more expensive middle segment. On one hand you can opt for some well-known brands such as Twin-Set and Patrizia Pepe. On the other hand Goldie surprised me with trendy army jackets, fur coats and flashy designs from 8PM or Alice&Trixie. Check the slide show with the best looks below. OUTFIT: My favourite clothes from SKM

NL: Bloggen neemt heel veel tijd in beslag maar af en toe heb je echt van die wow-momenten. Eén van die momenten was toen ik enkele weken geleden een uitnodiging van SKM in de brievenbus kreeg. SKM heeft het grootste merkenaanbod van dit land en de winkel is enorm. Waar SKM bij mij voorheen vooral bekend stond om hun dameskledij, dan wordt er nu verandering in gebracht. SKM steekt in een nieuw kleedje en biedt nu ook jonge en hippe merken aan zoals onder andere Supertrash, Nikkie en Guess.

Afgelopen donderdag trok ik dus met een missie richting SKM, want zij hadden mij en een aantal andere bloggers uitgenodigd om het nieuwe merkenaanbod te ontdekken en onze lievelingsoutfit samen te stellen. Het volledige resultaat kan je binnenkort gaan ontdekken op posterformaat in de SKM winkel maar in deze blogpost krijg je alvast een voorproefje. Het enorm hulpvaardige team was zo vrijgevig om mij de rok van Scee by Twin-Set en de blazer van Liu Jo mee naar huis te geven. 

De rok trok meteen mijn aandacht omwille van de prachtige oud gouden kleur, Dit staat toch net ietsjes klassenvoller dan gewoon goud. De rok zit ook enorm comfortabel in tegenstelling tot de meeste kokerrokken die ik bezit. De witte blazer is gewoon echt een pronkstuk voor mijn collectie. De pasvorm is perfect, de zoomen zijn prachtig afgewerkt en er zit een mooie, gouden knoop op. Dus allen richting SKM in Aartselaar!

ENG: Blogging takes up a lot of time but every now and then you have these wow moments. One of those moments was a few weeks ago when I received an invite of SKM in my mail box. SKM is the biggest brand store in Belgium. I always considered SKM to be well-known for their ladies wear, but times have changed. SKM is updating their image and are offering a lot of young and trendy brands such as Supertrash, Nikkie and Guess as well. 

Last Thursday I arrived at SKM with a mission because they had invited a couple of bloggers to discover the new brands and compile our favourite outfit. You'll be able to discover the full result at the SKM store very soon but you already get a preview in this blogpost. The helpful team was so generous to gift me the skirt from Scee by Twin-Set and the blazer from Liu Jo.

The skirt was love at first sight because of the gorgeous, old-gold colour. It's so much classier than standard gold. The skirt is very comfortable in contrast to the other pencil skirts I own. The white blazer is a real showpiece in my wardrobe. The fit is perfect and there's a gorgeous golden button. So go to SKM in Aarteselaar.

EVENT: Twin-Set Fall/winter presentation // Nacht van het Zoute

ENG: Last weekend my bff Anouk and I enjoyed some decadence in Knokke. Knokke is the most luxurious city at the Belgian seaside, you can compare it to Saint-Tropez in France for example. Once a year the Nacht van het Zoute is organised, a night filled with fashion, drinks and the most important thing: being noticed. The luxurious shops are open that night and costumers can discover the new fall/winter collections. I was invited to the Twin-Set store amongst others where I spotted a lot of nice fabrics such as lace, suede, wool and sequins. Below you see a recap of my evening.

NL: Afgelopen weekend konden mijn beste vriendin en ik een beetje decadentie meepikken in Knokke. Knokke is de meest luxueuze badstad van België, een beetje te vergelijken met Saint-Tropez in Frankrijk bijvoorbeeld. Eénmaal per jaar wordt er het Nacht van het Zoute georganiseerd, een avond gevuld met mode, drankjes en er tellen maar twee dingen: zien en gezien worden. De luxe boetieks houden die avond de deuren ook langer open om zo de nieuwe Herfst/winter collectie aan het publiek voor te stellen. Zo was ik onder andere uitgenodigd bij Twin-Set waar ik veel luxe stofjes spotte zoals kant, suède, wol en pailletten. Hieronder vindt je alvast een kleine impressie.
