EVENT: Launch party Belmodo 2.0

Belmodo zet al jaren de toon in het lifestyle landschap in Vlaanderen. Tiany Kiriloff was tot nu toe het enige gezicht en samen met haar team deelden ze leukste weetjes op mode, beauty en lifestyle gebied. Afgelopen donderdag lanceerde Belmodo een nieuwe website en dat verdiende natuurlijk een speciaal feestje. 

Het nieuwe concept is zes vaste bloggers, de knappe dames hierboven, die elk hun specialiteit hebben en hun inspiratie gaan delen met ons. De locatie voor het feestje was Altar, een kerk die nu gebouwd wordt al evenementenlocatie. Feesten in een kerk... That's definitely a first for me ;-)

De hele avond lang waren er toffe mode ontdekkingen zoals de nieuwe 3 Suisse collectie (ik ben fan), een MAC make-up booth en Belmodo Boutique met exclusieve designer items. Ook op culinair vlak werden we verwend met de heerlijkste hapjes door Il Capriani en drankjes door Pimm's en Copperhead. 

Je hoort het al: het was een meer dan geslaagde avond en de verre rit naar Gent zeker waard. Hieronder vind je enkele foto's en filmpjes die ik gemaakt heb met mijn smartphone. Geniet ervan!

ENG: Belmodo is THE lifestyle website in Flanders. Tiany Kiriloff was so far the only face of the website and together with her team she shared the best fashion, beauty and lifestyle facts. Last Thursday Belmodo launched a new website and this of course deserved a special party.

The new concept is: 6 bloggers, the ladies in the picture above, will each share their inspiration and speciality with us. The location for this party was Altar, a church being used as an event location. Partying in church... that's definitely a first for me ;-)

All night long Belmodo provided some lovely fashion discoveries such as the new 3 Suisse collection (I am a fan), a MAC make-up booth and Belmodo Boutique with exclusive designer items. Also culinary wise we were spoiled with delicious bites by Il Capriani and drinks by Pimm's and Copperhead.

You pretty much get the point I suppose: it was an amazing night and totally worth the long trip to Ghent. Below you can find some pictures and movies made with my smartphone. Enjoy!

EVENT: O'Rèn Army of Lovers party

 Do you remember that time I told you about this hip and up and coming brand O'rèn? Michael Wauman and Nathan Murillo's brand was all over Belgian fashion magazines the past couple of months and deservedly so. Last Saturday the guys presented their new collection "Army of Lovers" to the world, reason enough for a party right?

Yours truly was invited to this super cool event and in addition, I was one of the lucky few to be invited to the preparty. Picture a fancy hotel suite in Antwerp filled with Belgian finest and fashionable people. Michael and Nathan were super welcoming and the drinks flew abundantly during the preparty, the attendants got to witness the collection in all exclusivity. I can only say one thing: start saving up because believe me, you'll want basically every piece. The collection is army inspired with lots of khaki and cameo. O'rèn's trademark sweaters have different finishes such as sequins,.. Add in some sexy skirts and ripped pants and you have the perfect collection for all of you cool kids out there.

Afterwards the party moved to club Magic, the club from the Ramada Plaza Hotel. Some great music and people was the perfect cocktail for an awesome night. I want to thank Michael and Nathan from O'rèn and the people from Listenup for an amazing night and their hospitality.

Afgelopen zaterdag presenteerden de jongens hun nieuwe collectie "Army of Lovers" aan de wereld, reden genoeg voor een feestje toch!?

Ondergetekende was uitgenodigd op dit super coole evenement plus, ik was ook nog één van de gelukkigen die mocht aanwezig zijn op de preparty. Beeld je in: een fancy hotelsuite in Antwerpen gevuld met de mooiste en stijlvolste mensen van België. Michael en Nathan ontvingen ons als prinsessen en de drankjes vloeide rijkelijk tijdens de preparty, de aanwezigen konden de collectie in alle exclusiviteit ontdekken. Ik kan maar één ding zeggen: begin al meer te sparen want geloof mij, je gaat elk stuk uit deze collectie willen. De collectie had als thema "leger" met veel kaki en cameo. O'rèn's kenmerkende sweaters hebben verschillende afwerkingen zoals pailletten,... Voeg daar nog enkele sexy rokjes en gescheurde broeken aan toe en je hebt de perfecte collectie voor de cool kids onder jullie.

Daarna ging het feestje verder in club Magic, de club van het Ramada Plaza Hotel. Geweldige muziek en mensen waren de perfecte cocktail voor een fantastische avond. Ik wil graag Michael en Nathan bedanken van O'rèn en de mensen van Listenup voor de super avond en hun gastvrijheid.

FASHION: Best gowns from the Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Sunday night the Oscar awards were organised and a lot of magazines and blogs give a lot of attention to the outfits worn during this night. Therefore I thought it would be more fun to put the spotlight on another event in the shadow of the Oscar's: The Vanity Fair Party. This party attracts a lot of celebrities showing off their best outfits. Below you can see a selection of my favourite dresses.

NL: Zondagavond werden de Oscars weer georganiseerd en veel magazines en blogs besteden aandacht aan de outfits die gedurende deze avond worden gedragen.Daarom leek het mij wel leuker om een ander evenement onder de aandacht te brengen dat in de nasleep van de Oscars wordt georganiseerd: The Vanity Fair Party. I absolutely loved a lot of shows during Milan Fashion week. Most Italian fashion houses are a bit extravagant, which is exactly my style. Roccobarocco presented the perfect mix between classic pieces and coulourful pieces. Read my report from that show and others here.

Last Saturday I went to a decadent party which was organised in a wine castle. My Flemish readers might know this castle since it was used to shoot the TV show "Zuidflank". 

Two weeks ago I was one of the few lucky people who got to attend the Blog Class Event. This was organised by Yara from This Chick's got Style. It was a very inspirational day. Read my report here.

At the Blog Class Event everyone received a goodiebag. Among others things my goodiebag included the latest Elle edition and some delicious chocolate. This was very welcome during the long train ride back home.

After the Blog Class Event, it was time for some amusement. Another party night at club Versuz with some Gin.

You might have noticed that I was a bit absent from the blog last week, this was because of carnival. Carnival is an event during which people get dressed up. One day I got dressed up as a soldier.

Keeping up with the Kardashians is one of my favourite shows at the moment. I was looking for a new show, after Gossip Girl ended, which could really take my mind of things. KUWTK does it every time for me. 

Last Thursday my best friend organised a dinner party. The main course was 2 pastas; the left one was spicier; the right one was my favourite with spinach and cheese.

The dessert was a millefieulle from chocolate and ice cream. It's probably pointless to say that this was one of the best desserts I had in my whole life.

The 8th March we celebrated women's day. I think every girl should have friends like the girls from Sex and the City. They have so much fun and can always count on each other.

Last Saturday I had one of my best outfit shoots so far. I chose a spring outfit and my friend knew this great location. These 2 resulted in a great outcome. For more pictures, check my article here.

Celebrating a friend's birthday at Versuz with some Bacardi Razz. You can image I didn't feel completely fresh to go to work the next day.

My parents went on holiday to Tuscany last year. This year I get to go along. According to my mother there's plenty of opportunity to shop there so I'm really excited. If you got some tips, please let me know!

I've been working out more lately. I already did Infraligne, which are muscle exercices in warm cabins. Now I started with Bootcamp and running.

Last Friday night I caugt up with a friend I hadn't seen for years, isn't that great? We had dinner at Etna, which is an Italian restaurant in Tongeren. All there pastas and pizzas are homemade. I ordered a vegetarian pizza and it was one of the best I had in my entire life!

Saturday day night I went to one of the best parties of the year. The event is called Reverze and it's one of the biggest indoor hardstyle festivals. The theme was "Guerdians of time". I really had a blast.
