OUTFIT: A little bit of pink a day, keeps the doctor away

NL: Heb je nu weeral een nieuwe handtas zullen jullie misschien wel denken bij het bekijken van deze foto's? Maar zoals je misschien weet, leen ik veel (heel veel) van mij mama. Zo ook dit Liu Jo tasje. Net op dezelfde dag dat ik met mijn Patrizia Pepe tas  thuis kwam, had zij deze beauty gekocht. Great minds think alike zeker ;-) De blouse is trouwens ook van mijn moeder, al draagt zij deze weinig. Zonde toch!?

ENG: You girls might be thinking: "Has she bought yet another bag?". But as you know I borrow a lot of my mother. This Liu Jo bag is one of those things. On the same day I came home with my Patrizia Pepe bag, my mom had bought this beauty. Great minds think alike I guess ;-) The blouse is from my mom as well, although she doesn't wear it that often. Isn't it a shame?

EVENT: New Look Summer Festival

Yesterday you could read about the Primark opening on Thursday. But that day I had to attend another event as well at New Look. New Look is a very fashionable store, originally from Great-Britain. They are always on point with the newest trends. During the event last week, New Look wanted to draw attention to their Summer Festival collection. As you can see in the pictures below, I'm a huge fan of their shoes and accessories collection. It was an amazing night with my blogger friends such as Valerie, Sheila, Laura and Lima.

NL: Gisteren kon je op mijn blog lezen over de Primark opening op donderdag. Maar die dag was ik ook nog aanwezig op een ander evenement bij New Look. New Look is een erg trendy modeketen, afkomstig uit Groot-Brittannië. Ze bieden altijd de laatste trends aan een zacht prijsje. Met het evenement van afgelopen week, wou New Look graag de aandacht vestigen op hun Summer Festival collectie. Zoals jullie in de foto's hieronder zien, ben ik een grote fan van hun accessoires en schoenen. Het was een gezellige avond met mijn blogger vriendinnen Valerie, Sheila, Laura en Lima. 

OUTFIT: Cameo

Like I told you earlier this week, I indulged on some Michael Kors bags. One of them is this cameo shopper. I remember already liking it last year and I was so excited to see it in the outlet shop. The bag is both edgy and feminine at the same time. I wore this look for a fun afternoon with my best friend; we cruised around singing silly songs and went for dinner and drinks. Therefor I wanted a chic but comfortable look. I was worn out after a night out and comfortable clothes are a must at these moments.

NL: Zoals ik jullie al eerder deze week vertelde, heb ik mezelf verwend met enkele Michael Kors tassen. Een ervan is deze cameo shopper. Ik herinner me nog dat ik vorig jaar al gek was van deze tas en was dan ook super blij om deze in de outlet te vinden. De bag is stoer maar tegelijk ook vrouwelijk. Ik droeg deze look tijdens een fijne namiddag met mijn beste vriend: we reden rond en zongen mee met foute muziek en daarna gingen we lekker dineren en geniet van enkele drankjes. Daarom koos ik voor een chique maar comfortabele look. Ik was uitgeput na een avondje uit en op zulke momenten zijn comfortabele kleren een must.

OUTFIT: Live life in colour

Woohoo spring is finally here and it's about time. I'm super happy about it, can't you tell? :-) I bought this dress about 6 weeks ago and I think that's about the longest time ever I put something new away in my closet for so long. Although I still have to work on my tan I couldn't wait to put on this dress and feel a little cheerful after spending three days in bed again battling the flu. Yes, you read it well. I was ill once again, it almost sounds like a song stuck on replay. I seriously hope this is the last time this year I'll be tied to my bed.

But I always try to look on the bright side and look for positive notes. I mean there are people in the world with far worst problems than having the flu. I have so much to be grateful for. I have amazing parents and friends who would basically do everything for me, and vice versa of course. My blog is going really well and each time I think I've reached my limits, something amazing comes up. Wow, who would have thought that this outfit post would be so philosophical.

NL: Woohoo, eindelijk is de lente er en het werd tijd ook. Ik ben super blij, zoals jullie wellicht wel merken!? ;-) Ik kocht deze jurk 6 weken geleden en ik denk dat ik nooit eerder een nieuw kledingstuk in mijn kast heb laten hangen. Ook al moet ik dringend nog iets doen aan mijn kleurtje, ik kon niet wachten om dit kleedje aan te trekken. Een beetje kleur kon ik wel gebruiken na weeral drie dagen in bed te hebben gelegen met de griep. Ja, jullie lezen het goed. Ik was weeral eens ziek, het lijkt wel alsof ik in herhaling val. Ik hoop echt dat het de laatste keer is dit jaar dat ik in bed moet blijven. 

Maar ik probeer altijd opgewekt te blijven en kijken naar de positieve dingen. Er zijn mensen met ergere problemen in de wereld dan de griep. Ik heb zoveel om dankbaar voor te zijn. Ik heb geweldige ouders en vrienden die alles voor me zouden doen en visa versa natuurlijk. het gaat er goed met mijn blog en elke keer als ik denk de limiet bereikt te hebben, gebeurt er weer iets geweldigs. Wow, wie had er gedacht dat deze outfitpost zo filosofisch zou zijn.

OUTFIT: I'm done with winter

Lately I have a hard time composing outfits for the blog. I'm so done with winter and I can't stand to wear my coats multiple times during outfit shoots. The coat in this outfit is my mom's and I wore it because it's super warm. I've had the flu this past weekend so it was very important to keep warm. I'm really going to try to shoot a better outfit next weekend when I have more time.

NL: De laatste tijd vind ik het moeilijk om outfits samen te stellen voor de blog. Ik heb het echt helemaal gehad met de winter en ik haat het om mijn jassen meerdere keren te dragen tijdens mijn outfit shoots. De jas in deze outfit is van mijn mama en ik droeg deze omdat hij super warm is. Ik heb het afgelopen weekend griep gehad dus het was belangrijk dat ik lekker warm had. Ik ga echt proberen om volgend weekend een betere outfit te shooten.

OUTFIT: Opposites attrack

Nowadays you see a lot of bloggers who are really into minimalistic clothing, decorating,... You can't of course discuss one's taste and I respect everybody for that. But just dressing in one style is not really my thing. One day I feel like a more comfortable, rock chic look, the other day I enjoy being girly girl. Last week I bought this soft pink lace shirt and immediately decided I would combine it with a leather item.

In other aspect of my life I try to be like that as well; you won't catch my twice in a row at the same restaurant, I go to lots of different kinds of party and I listen to various music genres.

For my make-up look in this outfit post I finally used the Trafalgar eye shadow by Dior, a palette I have been craving for a very long time. I will soon write a review on yet. Anyway that's it for today. Let me know whether you like my outfit or not.

NL: Tegenwoordig zie je heel wat bloggers die zich erg minimalistisch kleden, decoreren,... Over smaken valt natuurlijk niet te discussiëren en ik probeer dan ook iedereen te respecteren hiervoor. Maar me gewoon kleden in maar één stijl is niet echt mijn ding. De ene dag voel ik me comfortabeler in een rock chic look, de andere dag geniet ik er van om heel vrouwelijk gekleed te gaan. Afgelopen week kocht ik een zacht roze kanten topje en meteen besliste ik dat het zou gecombineerd worden met een lederen item. 

Op andere gebieden in mijn leven probeer ik ook zo veel mogelijk af te wisselen; je zult me niet snel tweemaal op rij in hetzelfde restaurant zien of hetzelfde soort feestje en ik luister naar veel verschillende genres van muziek.

Voor de make-up look in deze outfit post gebruikte ik eindelijk de Trafalgar oogschaduw van Dior, een palette dat al lang op mijn wishlist stond. Binnenkort komt hier ook een review van online. Dat is het voor vandaag. Laat me aub weten wat jullie van deze outfit vinden.
