OUTFIT: Amen jewelry

NL: In de outfit post van gisteren ging het al over accessoires en ook in deze outfit staan deze centraal wat mij betreft. Onlangs kreeg ik een setje van Amen jewerly toegestuurd. Dit Italiaanse merk is geïnspireerd door geloof. Niet alleen door het christelijk geloof (zie de diverse ontwerpen) maar ook door het geloof in de mensheid en de wereld. De collectie is dan ook echt mijn ding; accessoires met kruisjes, heiligen, engeltjes,... Wat vinden jullie van deze outfit?

ENG: In yesterday's outfit post I already talked about accessories and in this outfit my accessories are the most important element as well. A while ago I received a few pieces from Amen jewerly. This Italian brand is inspired by faith. Not only by Christian faith (see the designs) but also by faith in humanity and the world. This collection is really my cup of tea; accessories with crosses, saints, angels,... Do you like my outfit?

OUTFIT: The final countdown

NL:  Morgenavond is het zo ver en vertrek ik op vakantie. Negen daagjes lang ga ik genieten van het mooie weer, lekker eten en ontspanging aan de Franse Riviera. We verblijven in twee hotels: eentje in Frankrijk en eentje in Italië, maar daar vertel ik jullie later nog meer over. Op mijn wishlist staat: Nice, Cannes, Saint-Tropez en Monaco bezoeken. Hebben jullie tips voor mij?

In deze chique badsteden geldt natuurlijk: zien en gezien worden. Mijn lievelingstas van Chanel, die je in deze shoot ook ziet, kan dus niet in mijn koffer ontbreken. Wat vinden jullie van deze outfit?

ENG: Tomorrow night I'm finally starting my holiday. Nine days long I will be enjoying gorgeous weather, great food and some relaxation at the French Riviera. We will be staying in two hotels, one in France and one in Italy, but I will tell you about both later. On my wishlist: visiting Nice, Cannes, Saint-Tropez and Monaco. Do you have any tips for me?

In these fancy sea towns the rule "more is more" of course counts. My favourite Chanel bag, which you can spot in the pictures below, will also go with me to France of course. Do you like this outfit?

OUTFIT: Scapa flats

NL: Het zware leven van een blogger... shooten in de wind! Afgelopen week ontving ik mijn nieuwe Scapa ballerina's van Zalando en natuurlijk wou ik deze meteen shooten. Vorig jaar ging ik voor gouden schoentjes en dit jaar koos ik voor het oud roze. Wat vinden jullie er van?

Als ik één ding haat tijdens het shooten, is het wel wind. Ik denk dat je dit ook aan mijn gezicht ziet ;-) Ik heb graag dat mijn haar goed zit... achja, volgende keer beter zeker! 

ENG: The though life of a blogger... shooting in the wind! Last week I received my new Scapa flats from Zalando and of course I wanted to shoot them immediately. Last year I opted for the golden pair and this year I chose old rosé. Do you like them?

If there's one thing I hate during shooting, it's this crazy wind. I think you can see this by the look on my face ;-) I like my hair to stay put ... well, better luck next time I guess!

OUTFIT: Chic

NL: Flashy kledingitems, rokken met plooitjes en torenhoge hakken; allemaal mooi en wel maar niet echt bijzonder praktisch in het dagelijks werkleven. Als blogger met een normale job is het soms best moeilijk om een middenweg te vinden tussen modieus en toch ook professioneel voor de dag te komen.

Soms moet ik me echt verplichten om ook weer eens te investeren in basics. De trui van River Woods is zo een mooie basic, net als mijn broek van 2nd One. Dit merk zet echt als gegoten, top! Als kers op de taart kreeg ik onlangs ook nog een nieuw Daniel Wellington horloge cadeau. Een mooie klassieker die je met bijna elke outfit kunt combineren. Wat vinden jullie van mijn basic outfit? 

ENG: Flashy clothing pieces, pleated skirts and sky-high heels; they are all very pretty but not that practical for normal working life. As a blogger with an office job it's definitely quite hard to find the golden path between being both fashionable and professional at the same time.

Sometimes I really have to remind myself it's important to invest in basics as well. The sweater from River Woods is an example of those gorgeous basics I'm talking about, as are the pants from 2nd One. The fit is just perfect, amazing! As cherry on the pie I recently received a new Daniel Wellington watch. A pretty classic which can be combined with almost every outfit. Do you like my basic outfit?

OUTFIT: Bomber time

NL: Alles komt terug en zo ook blijkbaar de "gevreesde" bomber vestjes. Je weet wel die opgeblazen vestjes. Zoals zo vaak moest ik toch even wennen aan deze trend maar nu zou ik wel tientallen bomber vestjes kunnen kopen ;-) Eerst wou ik het roze bomber jasje van Mango, je weet wel dat exemplaar dat praktisch iedereen heeft. Maar toen zag ik dit zwarte exemplaar met scuba stof en ik was verkocht. Wat vinden jullie van deze trend en outfit?

ENG: Everything comes back into style and apparently the "feared" bomber jackets as well. Do you remember those oversized jackets? As usual I needed some time to embrace this trend but now I have definitely turned over to the dark bomber side ;-) At first I wanted the pink bomber jacket from Mango, the one that basically every blogger has. But then I spotted this black jacket made of scuba fabric and I was sold. How do you feel about this trend and outfit?

OUTFIT: The perfect striped shirt

NL: Elke lente komen ze weer te voorschijn op kleding: ik heb het natuurlijk over streepjes. Ongeacht de kleur en de dikte. Een simpel zwart/wit gestreept shirtje kan dus in geen enkele klerenkast ontbreken. Ik tikte mijn perfect shirt op de kop bij de nieuwe collectie van Guess. Aan de zijkant heb je nog een leuk vlakkenpatroon dat ik helaas ben vergeten te tonen op de foto's.

Verontschuldig mij ook de kleine oogjes; twee nachten op rij op stap gaan, krijg ik niet meer zo goed verteerd als vroeger. Ik had moeten luisteren naar al die mensen die mij waarschuwde dat je eens voorbij de 25 jaar korte nachtjes enkele dagen blijft voelen. 

ENG: Each spring they tend to appear again on clothes: I'm talking about stripes of course. No matter the colour or width. A simple black and white striped shirt should be in every wardrobe. I found my perfect shirt in the new collection of Guess. There's also a gorgeous square pattern on the flank which gives an extra touch to the shirt. Unfortunately I forgot to show this in the pictures.

Excuse my small eyes as well: I don't cope with going out for two nights in a row as well as I used to. I wish I had listened to everybody who warned me that once past 25 years old those short nights take days to recover.
